Engemt & Cynirenne are home, FINALLY!

Spent the better part of these last two days riding in torrential downpours no matter where we rode the weather followed. But we are home safely @ 15:00 hrs today. Did a little xtra mountain riding then headed home. Enjoyed meeting everyone and had a great time! Thanks to all who made it happen it was most memorible. I will post more later, getting ready for work now, ugh!

Should have followed you! We ended up back at Vail and Leadville, since Cyndi did not go on the poker run, or because I missed the turn if you asked her!!  Anyway, then we got caught in the downpours and traffic from people leaving the mountains.  Made it to Hays Kansas about 10 pm and called it a day. Left Hays in bright sunshine and stopped in Great Bend to visit family for lunch. Mistake again, clouded up and started raining again about twenty miles on the road. Got so bad I could not even see the road then the wind blew us clear over in the other lane. Finally, found a farm to pull in to and took shelter in a man's garage. Once that cleared we beat feet to home through two more rain storms. But, we are home safe and sound.  Seats were great and we too enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife. Look forward to hooking up again! JDW
