a thinner head gasket for the Valk?..... I have had mine Dyno'ed 3 times since I bought it new in 03....... Best it would do is 85Hp.. I have changed gaskets on my racing dirt bikes for years. That makes a noticeable difference.......Thanks....

Running stock exhaust? That number is about right with most aftermarket pipes.

Do you have a California bike? Look for a charcoal canister under the swingarm. If so, that's all you'll get. The CA bikes have milder cams and different carbs for better emissions.

Cometic in Ohio has copper head gaskets in varying thicknesses for the 1500 engine.

Only 85hp? Sumting Wong! Mine pumped out in the mid-90's on a day when the heat was pushing 100 with matching humidity. Not the best conditions for a dyno run. Plenty of simple stuff can be done, including aftermarket pipes which can add some oomph when used in concert with other changes.
