After having bought this carb bank 13-14 years ago I just found the reason why it was so cheap.  The previous owner most likely never got his Valk to run at WOT because it just plain wouldn't.  Well, the screw is missing from the number #1 carb that would have kept it in sync.  At idle the number #1 would not have been getting gas and at WOT it would be %75 open.

Unless I am missing something here I am going to have to drill and tap this thing and then use the screw off of the other carb bank.

IS carb bank recently rebuilt

Old original carb bank

Anyone no what the thread pitch of the screws are offhand ?   2funny tickedoff 2funny :'( 2funny

I see what Mase sees,,, just needs the arm drilled and tapped,, don't know the pitch off hand. Got a thread pitch gauge?,
The carbs you are showing are off the right side of the bike, so I think that first carb would be #2..??

That's a trip.

I see,,,, I had to go pull the linkage cover off to see it right,,      Yeah, you will know the carb linkage pretty good by the time you are done.

No Pancho, the right side front to back is: 1, 3, 5
Left side front to back is: 2, 4, 6

When sitting on the bike.  cooldude
