(386) 462-1294 14934 NW 141st St Alachua, FL 32615
I clicked on the link to find them and my virus protection program didn't like it. Said there was a Trojan something or other there, so don't click it. Just look up the address on MapQuest or Google it if you need to know how to get there. It's on Main St. Downtown Alachua if you are coming from I-75 exit 399 go East to the second traffic light and turn right on Main st. It is on your right in the second block. We usually park across the street behind the pizza shop.

Would love to get up in your neck of the woods again. Pretty riding up there. Thinking about a ride after lunch somewhere?? There is the Antique Boat Festival in Tavares that weekend however and I should be going to that. It is probably the second largest wooden boat get together in the country now. There is a good representation of antique and vintage outboards there as well. This whole next week you can smell fresh varnish all over the "Golden Triangle" area!

Thunderbolt, Work and weather permitting we will be there. As of last Friday, this coming weeks work schedule looks promising and the extended weather as of this morning looks promising. I will be taking roads that will put us at 3.5 hours. Gil, if you and Crystal plan on attending I am taking the Sun Coast Parkway North through your area, then dog legging East/North to Alachua. Now I have something to look forward to all week, thanks for posting Terry

I hate to miss this one, some great roads near that area. Work puts me at SFO to Friday. Next Saturday is locked in for family.

How about 1230 instead of 1130. That should let everyone leave after daylight.

I'm surprised at the lack of interest. This should be a beautiful day, not too hot, temps below 90, heck below 80, no love bugs (yet) How about the Ocala, Inverness, Ingles group? Come on, drag those bikes out and ride em so your carbs don't set up

This newbie is looking forward to it, i am familiar with main st. in Alachua, never been down it but i have delivered to the feed store at the south end of main, it is more like a small Dicks Sporting goods store and has the best selection/prices of local honey anywhere i have found in Fl., might want to stock up whilst there. i deliver to Silver Springs on Thursdays, I would have liked to meet somebody who owns 3 Valks, Is there something to this addiction because i was no sooner half way home with my new to me Valk that i had dreamed of for ten plus years and was already trying to figure out how i could get another one, ya know, one for perfect weather weekends and one to commute with.. am i sick already ?? is anybody going my direction to the meet,?? i figure to go rt.207 to Palatka and either take rt. 20 over or rt.26 from rt. 100, either way pretty nice rides.

Sorry, but been busy with family visit for a week. Haven't been on the board at all. Still in catch-up mode but will check it out. Was just at Gator Nationals last Friday with my son. Shoulda stayed there. It would have been closer. I would not have known if DD had not sent me an email.

sixlow, we should be around Hwy 21/20 about 11:00ish if you want to hook up with us? coming up 20A [hopefully] I do have to tell ya we're directionally challenged, but our rides are a adventure. I'm sure we'll be there, I have a print out & good at U turns. don't tell me directions cause it won't work & confuse me more. there should be 4 or 5 bikes. I have a IS trike, green/silver [the fastest color] also a VTX, another IS & a Harley. if Pete is with a 3rd IS. maybe we'll see ya, if not we'll see ya at Conestoga's. deb

If I can get my back healed up enough I might try it. My in-house dr. told me to stay off the bike until further notice. I might listen to her....then again!!! With a 12:30 lunch time at least I wouldn't have to get up real early, just have to see how it goes the next 36 hrs., kinda doubt it this time though. Sure would like to meet the new folks.

I'm going up from St. Pete early around 7:00 am. If you want to meet up somewhere we can do that. Probably the Suncoast Parkway to 54 or 52 then head up north from there. I know Doug wants to go, hoping to hook up with him and ride together. I'll PM you my phone #. Be safe.

Billyboy, I'm leaving my home at 8:30, see ya up there. I won't make your meet, I'd have to leave at 6:30 to meet you at SR54 at 7:30. I get up at 3:30 every day and look forward to the little sleep I can grab on the weekend. Look forward to riding back with you.

Probably using the wrong procedure on the pics from Photobucket. If you pull up the folder with all the pics in it, go to the one you want and a little black "gear" looking thing will pop up at the top right corner of the picture. Put the cursor on that and the drop down window will show a half dozen choices, one is "get links." Open that and another drop down window comes up and click on the bottom one listed. Wait a second and it will say "copied." Close that window and go the this VRCC site and click "paste." When you "preview" the post, it will show the picture. But, you can post a number in a row on the same entry. Just move the cursor down to a point below the pic just entered.
