Planning on Sunday night through Thursday night....five days for $527. That's a single King bed but would be open to splitting a room and canceling mine. Sure looking forward to this, have missed the last three and I really enjoy them, get to spend time with old friends, meet some new ones. And in NC, I look forward to the rides in that beautiful state. I may trailer the bike at least part way, Rita doesn't want me to spend all those hours alone on the road riding the bike. If I ride with others, she's OK with it but feels the safer approach is "not alone." I can understand that.

Going to try to make it, but at those rates, may take my camper. Now if they would just give a location, sure would help with planning. They are acting like it is a big secret.  Shocked

Bill, they already announced it; Clarion Inn Airport, Fletcher, NC. Their local #: 828-684-1213. You have to register first so you have an "order number" to give them. Then call the hotel yourself to make reservations. Cheapest is a single King bed, $95/day plus 11% tax. Five days for me is $527.25....kinda hard on the wallet.

Don't think i can afford that, found an rv park 1/4 mile away for $39 a night.

It's fantastic that you guys are in the go mode!  cooldude
I was a little surprised of my invoice total at ground 0. Certainly not convention rates. It is a desired area for us riders so they kinda get ya by the curlies. Camping options are more plentiful so rates are far more accommodating. None the less, it will be a good time. It might be the largest Inzane to date!

JamesIII, I've been in the "go" mood every year, just couldn't attend the last three for various reasons. My wife's health prevents me from traveling unless someone can come stay with her. One year I decided to have a heart attack which kept me out of circulation for quite a few months. It was on July 1 and our anniversary is July 5, so my wife teases me about it. Said it's pretty sad when I'd go to such lengths to keep from having to celebrate it. I had no comeback at the time, I was still in a coma that lasted for ten days.  Wink

As for InZane being well attended, you may be right but doubt it's going to be the largest one. Some of the early ones in Ohio were close to 1000 or more. A couple I attended in Zanesville(hence the name InZane) had the 1000 Bike Ride to Marysville. Didn't quite make the 1000 bikes, but there were something well in excess of 500...don't recall the count but the scene was absolutely mind blowing. Would love to see that again.
