I got my back quieted down some today so thought I'd give it a test ride. The Fla. contingent of the GWRRA had their big Fla. district rally this weekend just outside of Mickey The Rat's domain on 192, about 30 miles from the house. So, I decided to see how well the old body would take a short run. Headed west was a PITA, stop 'n go most of the way. Had a chance to chat with some old vendor friends, and picked up a new set of chrome transmission covers if anyone is interested in them. I don't need them but figured someone new to the world of the Valkyrie might want them. Total ride.....66 miles. Yeah, big whoopee, but it was the first time on the bike in nearly a month. Felt good but I got a bit warm in the heavy traffic, Eddie would have loved it.  Grin

You're right Pete, sorry I missed another chance to chat. Last Thursday afternoon I went to a massage therapist I'd been to before. Told her what was going on so she concentrated on that area. The first 15 min. were pretty rough, she told me she could play that muscle like a violin string. After about 45 min. I was feeling loose as a goose(old farm expression, most don't know what it comes from). Grin  I still get little twinges but it's much better than 3-4 days ago. Really beginning to bug me, it restricts my activities too much.  Angry
