Joe,

The cut off is Aug 28.  If in doubt whether you can make it, make the reservation and ask for the cancellation date.  Then you've got a room that you can let go if need be.

Hope you can make it!

what Doc says. You know what i ALWAYS say over and over and over about Cheaha....it's easier to GET A ROOM AND CANCEL IF NEED........than NOT GET A ROOM AND NEED ONE LATER WHEN THERE ARE NONE TO BE HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get a room............cancel if need..............easily done......... cooldude

i'm pretty sure Sherry plans on bringing them. Also, Susan moves out in a couple of weeks (our college daughter) to her trailer in Auburn, AL....so....our "guard dog babysitter" will be harder to come by......so....even MORE LIKELY....we'll bring em' with us!  Roll Eyes

Besides, they LOVE traveling! i'm sure we checked and the hotel is pet friendly.....

I may have a room if someone needs one...I just received an e-mail invitation to one of my very best friend's 50th birthday party from his wife which she has scheduled for September 19th at their cottage...a huge bash and I have known this guy for 30 years...obviously, I don't share all my planned rides with all my friiend's wives, but maybe I should...really bummed as I was really looking forward to this, especially after having missed Maggie Valley....this really sucks!  Angry Angry
The only question is whether we come for Friday and leave early Saturday am...I have been known to ride to Ashville, have dinner and turn around and ride home...I wish the line "ah, but I was so much older then, I am younger than that now" applied in this situation, but no luck.

Room update. I know these things are subject to change but as it stands right now, there is one room left, Queen, smoking.  I took a double non smoking with the option of up grading to a King or Queen non smoking room if one becomes available.

I'll talk to the Quality Inn folks to see if they can turn loose some more rooms at the CBR rate.  Smiley

After all, we're nice people!

What time do the festivities start on Saturday?  I couldn't make it all the way there on Friday, so if I was to make it at all, I'd have to do some riding in Saturday morning.  When does the ride leave?
