A how-to video...

It's been done on two valks I've seen so far, one has it on the burnout w/flame thrower video from cape coral bike night found here:

4-14-12 Cape Coral Bike Night. "With Trick Rick Burn Out"powered by Aeva

Obviously it can be done and with cone filters for each carb eliminating the airbox peeve.

If anyone can point to the right direction on how to contact this guy, or someone who knows how this is done, I'm sure we'd all greatly appreciate it.  Cheesy

He's in the Members listing on page 243, sixth one down. His email isn't listed so you'll have to send him a PM, I won't divulge his email without his consent. It may be a while before he answers, hasn't been very active on here for some months. When I talked to him about it at the time he made the change, he said it was a real PITA and didn't recommend it...especially in the rain.

His carbs are actually reversed. The left and right sides are swapped. That way they turn out instead of in. That's why he has cone filters on it.

Im aware, but it's not as easy as that, the entire fuel system needs to change as well and how to do that without screwing up takes some legit know-how

Told me one of the biggest challenges was the linkage. Not sure how he did it but I guess it was a real head scratcher. I haven't looked at the bike in quite some time so can't tell you what it looks like. I'm wondering if I can do something like that on my GL1200 project bike. That would look killer on that four cylinder.

I did a lil research on this a while back when I was building my bobber. You cannot just turn the intake runners around. The ports are offset and do not line up. The other problem would be jetting the carbs. You will have to go extra fat on the jets. When you put single air filters on each carb, it's way too much air compared to the stock air cleaner. My impatience on getting the bike on the road took over, so stock carb set up is where it's at.

Just think of how far you could increase the fuel tank into that space....

That looks like stock rear fender. How did you go about shortening and reshaping it. Are the forks painted or powder coated? Love the look. More pictures if you have them.
