Actually got in yesterday... Shamrock sign read 116 degrees as we passed.  crazy2

Rather than using a map, we went home by way of weather avoidance... making south or west decisions based on which looked least likely to rain on our parade.  In so doing, we discovered some cool roads that neither of us had ridden before.
We did have to consult a map at one point though... after turning (what seemed to be) west on 145, we passed a 145-N sign... hmmmm... sun said we're heading west, so we kept going for awhile.  Got a bit more concerned when we we passed a sign that said entering Montrose County (we had already left Montrose County), so we pulled off for a map check.  145 was taking us west, but slightly north, as well... time to turn south or we'd wind up in Grand Junction.  So, south we went... on 141.  What a great move! Despite some straight-aways, this turned out to be one of the best roads on the trip.  Because of the complete lack of other vehicles on this little by-way, we were able to pull the full fun factor out of a ton of cool sweepers, and even some twisties around Slick Rock.

Unfortunately, I coundn't convince Psycho to head North instead of South at the 160/89 intersect... I was in no hurry to hit the heat of Phoenix.

InZane was great... thanks to everyone for coming!
