You can install the CCS-100 without a vacuum canister as well. I used all except #6 for vacuum when I did my install.

Same here, but I only tapped two of the intake for vacuum, works perfectly.

Do you lose speed when pulling a hill with just the two intakes supplying vacuum?

Not at all, like I said, it works perfectly. Another member, Alph, did the same and has had the same results (we ride together regularly).
