I had the battery inside this winter. I have a burnt out headlight lowbeam but other than that everything was good when I put it away for the winter. I only put a trickle on it one time all winter because I was an idiot so it was only at 11 volts when I installed it this afternoon. It made a clicking sound when I tried to start it but didn't even try to turn over. The horn wouldn't even work. Got it on trickle now and will try it tomorrow. Shouldn't it have tried to start with 11 volts?

The battery is now at 11.84 v. Still hooked up to the trickle charger.  Still just clicks when I hit the starter button.

Just went out and hooked it up to my big battery charger, set it to start and it started right up. Yesterday when I tried this I had it hooked up wrong (on charge mode, not start mode).  crazy2  Duh, oh well. Thanks for the help comment.  cooldude  The battery is less than 1 year old so I'm hoping it will still be good but it's not OEM so who knows. Usually you get what you pay for.

Harv.

You better sell that Valk to me.  It doesn't like you for some reason or another.

Instead of on the trickle, put your big charger on it for an hour.   That should bring it back to life.   If it doesn't just go buy ya a GOOD battery instead of one of those cheapie's.

Ya get what ya pay for.

Sorry ya is a havin all the bad luck.

That's what ya get for abusing that nice Valkyrie.
