Once, I missed Britman's Memorial Day Ride because my rear brake caliper was fubar... I had
an Interstate caliper on hand, but didn't try to use it because they were different.

Yep they are, but I am using IS brackets, caliper and IS wheel & rotor. So basically my front, rear wheels brakes etc are all Interstate.
