Is there a chance anyone may have a decent timing belt coverand bolts in there spares bin  for sale ?  What kind of price is normal for these if I have to go to the great auction house online ?

Not really something that you see offered very often.  I assume yours is pitted or chrome is bad?  If you change it warm the engine first as one of the allen head screws, the top one right under the radiator on the left side sitting on the bike has some Loctite on it and mine broke off when removing it.  You might try Pinwall cycle.  They buy and part out bikes daily.

thank you for the reply . I am working on a project . I bought an engine but the belt cover was missing . I will be sure to check that bolt hole you mention though .
There are a couple on flebay ,begining at $200. I had no idea it would be that priced that high ,but its a shiny piece. I was hoping someone here may have parted a bike and have one .
