Lately i have been plagued by the 35 mph front tire bounce, after 2 or 3 nights of reading post's here i had decided to contact the fine gentleman that had sold me my beauty just a few moths back. I have at least concluded that the tire should be checked for round true-ness or belt separation, and balance. So i knew these tires where fairly new and called him to see if he had receipts so as to maybe get a warranty issue resolved. He had the receipts and other papers he was meaning to give me when sold but had forgotten, so i took a ride over there today and on the way stopped at the very place he had the tires put on, and after some questions there the mechanic stated that if the air pressure was low for a while the cupping effect takes place on the tire and it is doomed from there, keep pressures up to max 36 to 38 psi he said especially on a big bike like the Valk, some jokes where made as to "the acura on 2 wheels" and such.. anywho when i first rode my rig home and I just assumed all was up to snuff, i rode again the next day and then checked and found only 18 psi in both tires, how long could they have been so low is hard to say but i don't think i have any shot with a warranty issue.
C'mon get to the topic...
Well, Roger, the previous owner has had his share of dealings on this forum in this post.. coolsmiley

so Roger says hi Terry and we both thank you for your help, cooldude he was also very fond of Ricky too who helped out a ton as well.
So there it is my bike has been the topic in one of the longest threads about carb syncing ever..
End rant

Looks like i will be trying to get some new Metzlers and tire valves replaced asap.

Wow..18 PSI is way low, but you know that now. I check my tires and pressures every time I get on her. A real good habit to have.  cooldude

Cupped or not I'll bet she handled a ton better when you got the pressure back up in em.  Roll Eyes
I myself run 42psi front and rear.

I think Roger was in Palatka.  He had made his own synch gauge and I rode over there one Saturday after a lunch ride and we checked it with my Twinmax if my rememberer is working correctly.
On motorcycle tires I run 42 front and 40 rear.  Darkside if mounted on the rear I run around 35 depending on the tire in use.

I do check them often now, and the bike really felt sluggish with the 18 psi and with full psi she limbered right up, I think the low psi may have sent a potential buyer away just before i scored it, he had complained to Roger about fat tires and he wasn't used to them, worked out for me..
Your rememberer is working just fine Terry, Palatka it was and he was very appreciative of everybody's help here. Nice ol fella.  Now i will top my tires off to 42/40, and see if tire hop is too unbearable to live with. i also think rear shock bushings are shot but I want to save up for some custom made 'works' shocks in my future.
