Pretty new to my 98 Tourer.  I've had it on the highway a bit and it runs great as far as I know Roll Eyes
Took my wife with me on a couple hundred mile round trip and going down the interstate at 70 or so, when I rolled off the throttle it gave a loud backfire.  A few minutes later it did the same thing.  Didn't do it any more after that or on the way home.  Stock pipes, not de-smogged or re-jetted.  Something to worry about or is it something that just happens sometime?

Couldn't say I haven't had my 97 backfire once in 100k.

No, but I'm going to PM the seller and see if he experienced that.

Yeah, I agree, she just wants to go fast.  Have a hard time keeping the speed down as the ride is so  smooth it's difficult to realize my speed has increased.
