I think I got mine at JC Whitley, it can be heated or cooled.  I never did either, but do put it under a beaded seat in the summer.   it was 125.00 a very long time ago.   good luck.

I just bought one from a company in Az.  It has the tail bone cutout (gas relief?).   It is covered with Sheepskin.  Nice quality, puts me about 1 1/2 inches taller.  Used it once for 20 minutes.  Cost ~ $125 to the door.  I think it has a guarantee of return it if you don't like it.  I'll keep it for the long rides.  I have a mustang seat now.

Never had one but read many times that gel (thou comfortable) retains heat badly, and would not seem like a good idea in FL.  Even if you kept it in the frig, you'd go from frozen donuts to hot in a couple hours.

The polymer seat pads do not retain heat, neither do the Airhawk cushions (which I use all the time, except cold riding) (it was a Corbin gunslinger that led me to an Airhawk years ago).  Sheepskin is another idea, but not much padding for a Corbin cement block.

Maybe a thin polymer pad under a tied down sheepskin.  Will raise you up a half inch or so.

Granted that mine is over an Ultimate, not a Corbin, but for my money and after 50 years of experimentation, it doesn't get much better than a short sheared Alaskan Sheepskin. Keeps you warm in the cold, cooler in the hot, eliminates "Monkey Butt" when it's hot, works well even in the rain, of which I had plenty last week on GOTF trip. cooldude

When I bought my Valk the PO have had the OME Seat retrofitted with a Gel Pad.  Smiley
I have fancier seats but the comfort of this one won me over. Wink

After investigating gel pads I decided to go with an air seat cushion. Got the Standard one made by
Freedom Air. A bit pricey but used it for the first time this weekend and after 400 miles my boney butt was still happy. The rest of me was happy also, no leg pains. cooldude
This was the first time out but I'd recommend it.

+1 on the air seat cushion.

I bought the Airhawk 2 last September for a long ride, still got and love it.  If you get one, no matter what it is, consider taking it off when you go in someplace or it may not be there when you come out.  The AH2 is pricey.

I'm still looking for the seat pad.  Can't seem to get away from her pads.

I use an Airhawk 2 also. The largest size for the stock 98' seat. It's a love/hate thing with me. Too much air and you slide around on the seat and I'm higher on my windshield than I like; the nose pushes my crotch back. No air is my choice, and then I move it forward so my rear is half on the stock seat and half on the Airhawk. Thinking of going with an Ultimate. Would like to get one before Inzane or at Inzane. Their listed on their web site as attending. If I thought a Day long was the be all cure all I'd go for it but with Ultimate being here in Florida, I'm going to give it a try.

I use the Freedom Air seat cushion with almost no air pressure at all. It gives just enough lift off the seat to make it a comfortable ride without raising you in the seat and thereby changing your riding position. You don't feel like you're riding a balloon if the pressure is kept at a minimum.
