I've seen most of the posts about all the after market horns but never anything about putting a 1800 Goldwing horn on the Valkyrie.  I have an 08 wing and the horn is very loud.  Anyone tried it?

I have a GW also, like the loud horn, but thought the cost of the horn or horn set from Honda wouldn't be cost effective. I went with a horn set from Harbor Freight, about $10.00, or O'Reilly's for about $19.00. You can team up 2,3 or 4 of these and you will be heard loud and clear, be sure to use a relay and run them directly from the battery, the horn switch can trigger the relay.

While I have a Bad Boy horn on my Valk, I think the OEM horn on my BMW is even louder. Might be worth the effort to find a wrecked BMW and get yourself an attention getting horn.

Dual tone horns on my 82 CB900 are pretty darn loud...but have a higher pitch (which probably help to be heard more so).

Carried my motorcycle battery into a junkyard and walked around blasting horns on old Cadillacs, Buicks, etc.  Ended up with a dual set off of an old full size Ford van.  It was $5 per horn, so $10.  Some of those old car horns are pretty loud- I'm happy.

that's exactly what I was going to post!!  I went to a local auto salvage yard (aka. junk yard) and got some horns for $5 for the pair off of an old chevy van.  you can easily mount 'em under the cycle near the kick stand area of the swing arm.
