I have a problem with my throttle on my 2000 Interstate. A little background first, in two years I have moved up from a 99 Honda ACE 750 Classic, then a 98 Honda 1100 Tourer, and now my 2000 Valk.
Back to the problem;
When I apply the appropriate amount of throttle to pass a car or another motorcycle, I seem to experience a difficulty in tapering off of the throttle when the appropriate amount of speed needed to accomplish the maneuver is reached.
This is usually accompanied by a glimpse into the rear view mirror and an involuntary grin. Occasionally when this happens on stretches of open road, the involuntary grin turns into a s**t-eating smile, and accompanying speeds that occasionally exceed that states' safe speed limit for that particular stretch of highway.
I didn't seem to have this problem with the two bikes that preceeded the purchase of my Valk. If any of you have experienced this, and have a suggestion on how I can remedy this situation, please let me know...

Yea, this new Valk rider is really enjoying his flat six..
