Rumors are that people use different sprays or concoctions to minimalize the agravation of cleaning the darn things off body parts. A friend suggested WD40 and/or Pam. My old standby is Lemon Pledge.

Any other suggestions anyone?

hydogen peroxide. They just bubble up and are easy to wipe off.

Been using the hydrogen peroxide for several years.  Just go to your local Dollar General or Walgreens etc. and buy a quart or pint of it.  Also buy a sprayer that will screw onto the bottle.  When you get in from a ride immediately squirt the offending creatures with it and let it sit for a couple of minutes, don't let it dry.  You can then squirt most of them off with your water hose nozzle.  You might need to use a soft cloth and wipe a few stubborn ones off.  Key is to do it as soon as you get home.
Haven't seen any ill effects although it might mean you need to reapply the wax on the painted parts.

No problem it's only H202. I've been using it for a couple of years with no issues at all. It foams up just
like when you put it on a cut. Always carry a spray bottle with me during the season.

Yup, Hydrogen Peroxide water mix takes them off easy. Don't let them sit, they can damage the paint and windshield. Don't use a rag you want to keep...they stink. Ride with mouth closed, they taste worse than they stink.
