DFW VRCC January 2009 Meeting
 
Thursday 1/8/09 DFW VRCC Club meeting
Joe's Crab Shack in Grapevine ( Main St. and 114)
Come at 7:00PM to eat, and the meeting will start at 8:00PM.
 
Agenda items:

-        We need new ride ideas.  Please contribute and offer to lead a ride to your favorite spot.  Please.
-        Tell tall tales, good service stories, describe great stretches of road, and anything that involves riding bikes (preferably Valkyries).
-        Discuss past events and rides (Terrell Christmas parade, Texas Toy Run and Polar Bear Run)
-        Discuss upcoming ride for Sausage and Sauerkraut in Munster
-        Other ideas for upcoming rides (East, North and West of DFW). Bring the name of your favorite stretch of road. We'll include it in 
         future rides.
-        Don't throw them away! Bring your old motorcycle magazines to the meeting for others to read.

Anyone up for a burger at Flip's before the meeting?

Nope.  We need to continue to buy food at Joe's in order to have a room to meet in.  So, hopefully, most will still eat at Joe's and those who don't like Joe's can join us after a Flip's burger. 

Remember, we checked into Flip's and they wanted $200 per hour in food purchases in order to get a meeting room.

My response was not targeted at anyone who intends to "Eat at Joe's".  Nor was it intended to resurrect any of 2008's old business.  I'll drink a beer there, but, along with some others, I won't buy food at Joe's anymore, hence the question.
