I bought a Dunflop from Jake Wilson. It had a hop at 30 mph. They said would refund but haven't received credit bk. on my credit card. I paid dif. and got a Avon. But am now charged for both tires. He first was telling me correct about the transaction. But then said he would have to see if warranty dept. knew about it. Well they did but said would have to processs the return default tire and that could take up to 10 days to get credit for. BUT I did mention are these seconds and he ho hummed around a bit on that. That everything was new. But depended on the manufacturer. Which when I got the Avon it showed coming from Rocky Mtn. ATV. not JW,   I have bought from them before but have seconds thought now. Hope the Avon works out. Disappointed in customer service.

Sorry about your experience with Jake Wilson. Undecided  Just so you know Rocky Mountain A TV and Jake Wilson are one in the same. I've bought thousands dollars worth of tires from them and just recently bought a set of Metzler.  I've never have had a bad experience on returns either.  It doesn't surprise me you had a performance problem with a Dunlop. I love Avon Cobras.  cooldude

This may JUST be me BUT if the prize in a drawing was a set of Dunlop M/C tires for my Valkyrie I would ask if I could get another brand or have the cash instead. I've dealt with J W and their other name-R M A T V and it's been good experiences. Sooner or later we all get bad days.  crazy2 RIDE SAFE.

  Ditto, I'm an Avon fan.
Wouldn't run a Dunflop if it were free, but that's besides the point.
Sorry about your experience, politely elevate your case to the next level. I'm sure they'll take care of you. Many of us use them and I have never heard of a bad experience.
Good luck, and post your results I bet they take care of you.

Plus....you may want to give them the link to this thread. May help!
So far 140 past future or potential customers have read this and have their own opinion about what may happen in future business dealings with JW based on the outcome of your issue.

My new Metzeler front and box of Myers 90-degree metal valve stems were delivered today. Ordered them Friday, received them Tuesday, and the V-rated tire was 30 bux less than the one I bought before last year's InZane. And, of course the shipping was free.

Sorry you're not happy right now, but Jake Wilson is my go-to source for tires.  cooldude

Got the DunFlop off and the Avon on. Dunny sent bk. to Jake Wilson. JW said could take up to 10 days to go bk. on credit card. But I am out the time resolving the matter, labor time , Travel bk. and forth to shop for mount and balance of the two. Cost of m&b, So not to happy with JW nor will I ever buy a DuFlop. Good thing i took the wheel of myself and took in to mount and bal. both times or I would had 2@ 65. hr. labor costs. Plus had down ride time.  But could be worse as my wife says could be laying on side of road due to bad tire. If they are selling seconds beware. Keep a watch on the board for other defects from JW and Dunflop  in the future. Which i think most are aware of the DunFlops.
