Hey everyone, I am moving to Peosta IA tomorrow (Friday May 16 2014). Looking to expand my horizons with some new riding territory. I hope to meet some of you fine folks in the area. I'm leaving my Valkyrie back in Illinois for the time being as I am having some major mechanical malfunctions in the transmission. I haven't had the time to take it apart since I've been preparing for the move since I graduated college last week. Hopefully get it back up to speed over Memorial Day weekend.

I'm pushing to purchase the new Valkyrie, do any of you recommend a dealer in the area?

Reb, hate to say it, but there isn't too much activity over on the East side of the state.

State Rep is in the West side, and most of the riders are in Central.

However, if you would care to set up a ride and lead it, we can probably get a couple of bikes/Trikes over there to attend.

PM me your e-amail address and I'll see that the State Rep gets it.

Also, if you go to the registration page and change your town/state, that won't be needed as it will change automatically to Iowa.

 Welcome from the Iowa state rep. We do post when we are having rides on this site and would love to have you join in. Like RJ said most of our rides are from the Des Moines area. We do meet in the winter a couple of times for supper. We usually meet in Des Moines. We are open for any new ideas you might have. Hope  you get the bike fixed soon.

There are great roads to your north along the Miss. River.  I'm in Monticello, and that's where I usually go.  I haven't made it out to central/west Iowa for a Valk ride yet, but will someday. 

Sindt Motor Sales in Dubuque is right on Highway 20 on the west edge of Dubuque.  I bought my Valk from them in 2012, and I always enjoy stopping in to look at bikes and visit with staff.

I just drove bye it this evening as I was experiencing my first Hyvee grocery store. I have settled in a nice place in Peosta, sure is a great little town. Nice folks in these parts.

Your not far from JP Cycles in Anamosa. They do a big open house. Also I hear, and seen pictures  , of a rally in Algona. Its north central of the State.
