We had a wonderful day! Thanks for organizing this and for the fun-filled photos. Maybe we'll get another cool front next weekend and can do it again!

What a nice day!! Once again we had some new faces and as usual by the end of the ride it was like we all knew each other already! Did anyone notice that you could not PRY the grin off Larue's face today? Oh wait that's pretty much normal. We almost needed a marine mechanic for one of the bikes of ours at Sleepy Hollow....not saying another word about that! Whooaaa Nellie......Whoaaaa!

What a beautiful day. Good people, good food, good rides, new faces, no breakdowns (that I know of). Really hard to beat for and early summer day in Fl. The love bugs only took 1% off the shine of the day. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for sharing, looks like everyone had a lot of fun, no food pics, can only assume everyone enjoyed the food too. 30 Valks for the turnout, that is awesome. The weather was great ... glad everyone made it home safe. I spent the day on a 5 gallon bucket wax on wax off, then I snuck out for a quick ride. Hopefully, my parts come in tomorrow as predicted. Ride Safe! Bill

Thanks for the great pics Doug. I was sure it was happening from all the great comments. Looked like the most Valks since Bert and Sherries. That one will be tough to beat. Kinda curious about the marine mechanic. Was somebody trying to make a Valk airboat?

Doug I like the new time piece. That Timex was like 24 seconds slow. Drove me nuts. Good pictures. I'll add some tonight. Gil

WE HAD A GREAT TIME! The day is never to long when you are spending it with such a wonderful group of people. We have never seen so many Valkyries in the same place at one time. It was great loved all the colors and customs that everybody added to their bikes. You all made us feel part of the group. Hope you will have us back again we are ready to ride. It was great meeting all of you and next time we will remember more names. (maybe name tags not so bad, just kidding I am sure that there is an unwritten rule about Valkyrie riders wearing name tags)
Thanks Doug for putting together such a great ride.

Thanks to Doug for posting a few pics and leading our group for an excellent ride. As mentioned, the Florida weather came through. WOW, what a great gathering of folks! Hats off to several that took the time to clock off quite a few miles for the event; Naples Jeff(flsix), Terry(Thunderbolt), Bert, Sherri, Bob, and quite a few others. Larue's bike was really looking sharp and sounding strong with Bert's repairs! The rear fender/filler flairs that Larue had installed were quite an attention getter, looks really good! It was a pleasure meeting and riding with Ed & Pat(scoop 171) as well as Jaymi from across the bay. Yes, Jaymi can indeed ride that Valk! Anytime I can share road time with Billy, Gil, Crystal, Doug, Jerry, Sherry and others in our local group it's a fun day. The Cove was a good call on Doug part as it was large enough for all of us to gather. As always those who were unable to attend were missed. Looks like there's going to be a good Florida showing at Inzane this year. Several of us confirmed and hopefully be able to enjoy the sites and sounds of the Blue Ridge and surrounding areas together. With just a couple of weeks left, time for riders to think about there preflight, and give their bikes a good look over. Have fun & be safe! James

More Like An Anchor Or A Reef. After Willy Got Off Of His Beautiful Black & Champagne Colored Interstate At Sleepy Hollow, He Put it On The Center Stand And Was Taking His Helmet Off When I Saw His Bike Rolling Forward Off Of The Concrete Pad That His And Some Others' Bikes Were Sitting On. I Ran And Grabbed The Handlebars From The Left Side And Kristi Grabbed It From The Right. A Couple Of Others Grabbed It And We Got It Stopped In The Standing Position As It Was Headed Toward The Lake. Thank Goodness We Were Still Standing Close Enough To Willy's Bike To Make The Miraculous Save, It Was A Close One For Sure.

McD is one meeting place for the Pasco / Pinellas Valks. Popeye loves spinach, Billy Boy loves McD breakfast. Teals lead us to Hess to meet more Valks (that's James back). Doug at Hess. Chorus Line. Billy and his Harem. [/size] I think this is Jerry's favorite recliner.

Awww geeezz, I feel snubbed. Nobody got a picture of my car. I was just glad to get out and make the gathering, was a great day with some great folks. It seems like the last shot I got Friday is really making a difference. This is the first time in nearly three months I've gone without any highpower pain meds...nothing in over 24 hrs. and I didn't wake up in a fog. Doug, thanks for putting this together, perfect day with perfect weather....except for those horny bugs.

Read about the outing too late. We love The Cove. First time there 1988. Had been going there by boat for five or more years, then one day some friends took us out for wings, we drove there, and now I know how to get there ( by one lantern)

It was a blast! Thank You Doug and so nice to meet you Jaymi (love your bike!) and a wonderful time talking to Ed and Pat (love your rare champagne color) The weather for this time of year was perfect and for those who followed me on the way to Hess, sorry, sometimes my need for speed gets out of control. Ok, many times. OK alot!

Sandy and I had a really, really, good time riding and hanging out with all of you. Thanks Doug for organizing this fine event - and what a great turnout! It was good meeting new friends and spending some time with old friends too. We truly enjoy all of you Valkyrie crazies, and look forward to the next opportunity to meet up again.
