BillyBob - almost all of the back roads down through there are pretty good.
Only thing I can say is stay sharp as there are a lot of Deer and Hogs through there and not a lot of reaction time due to the tree lines being so close to the roads.
Will see you guys and gals down there.
Ride safe this weekend.....the drunks will be out.

Miss Pennie says bring the wing!  And who am I to judge anyway? We brought a Kawasaki and a HD along with us to the last Valk party. Anyone brave enough to hang out with us after seeing that photo is welcome to come.   Grin  See ya'll tomorrow.

Made it to NPR and no rain.  Great ride with new roads.  Jaymi did a great job.

I'll post pictures later (ok Roger).  Billy loaned his D Dukes to Bert, and Bert proudly wore them.  Just wish Jack was there to see that.  Where were you Jack?

I was going to swing by and see Grumpy on the way home. Right after I waved good bye to Todd & Pennie like the coin, I saw lightning, then the sky opened up and rained until I hit Pinellas County. So much for not washing my bike Todd Grin Then had to change out an irrigation pump and some sprinkler heads before leaving for vacation tomorrow. It was hot as Haitis, just got inside dehydrated. Boy the A/C feels good.

Yes some very good roads today, thanks Jaymi.  I was lucky an only had a light sprinkle and was able to out run it for the most, my pants dried out by the time I got to the house. Will address my tire rub / air shock pressure tomorrow. Those were some very good burgers, enjoyed breaking bread with everyone, glad everyone made it home safe. Yes, summer is here it was quite warm on the slab.
Take care n ride safe

Was great to see y'all today. Glad I decided to go ahead and ride over. Wasn't so bad on the ride over, took the real long way getting there but going home was HOT!! Got to have a quality conversation with Bert since we got there way ahead of everyone else. Pappy, Bert and I were tooling north down 19 toward Tavares (kept waiting for Pappy to turn right, Bert knows what I mean....  Grin) and we met an FHP going south. We were definitely going around 70 or so, in a 55 zone, but he didn't hit his brakes and spin around so no harm, no foul. I was in the sweeper position and in the distance, saw him coming up..fast! I slowed to 55 and got to the yellow line as Bert and Pappy rode on ahead. I was trying to keep him from passing me since they usually go after the lead bike. Oncoming traffic was pretty steady but he kept getting closer and closer to me. I expected to see "Red 'n Blinkies" at any second until we met an HD rider going faster then us in the other direction! The FHP swung around, lights on and went after him...Sorry HD Dude, better you than us  Sad. Red Wing is an example of not judging a book by it's cover. The food was real good and they took good care of us. Bert and I had a Reu-Burger, which is a "BIG" hamburger with corned beef, sauerkraut and 1000 Island on it. Different and good. Several folks had nice looking salads, watching their waist lines I guess. Sherri, however, just started with a salad, Gil even gave her a fry, then the food started coming, burger, steak, hot dog, pancakes...you get the picture  Wink. I tried hard to stay out of Penny's camera lens, we saw what she did to Billy. Nice day with great folks. Seems like everyone got home safe and sound, praise the Lord. Nice meeting some of the new folks, Jaymi added some Bling right in the parking lot with Billy's help.   See y'all next time.

Yea Gil  ......  could not get done in time to make the ride, but look forward to the next one.

As far as Bert and the D Dukes, what can I say .........  I'll take your word for it and will not ask for pictures on that one  Grin

I thought that we had to watch out for you taking pics after you posted Sherrie's pic but it looks like we have to be AFRAID, VERY AFRAID of Pennie. Everyone stay away from her  2funny
