My memory's so bad that... What was I saying?

For the helmet wearers: Have you ever stopped the bike, sat there for a moment or two, stood up, walked around to the trunk to take off your helmet and put it in there, and found that your chinstrap isn't fastened? When you do that, do you find yourself wondering if you undid it while sitting, or you forgot to buckle it in the first place? It was 30 seconds before, but I have NO recollection either way.
Oh well. I remembered how to get to my destination, at least.

I've done that a few times and just figure I didn't fasten it before heading out, he last time it happened the strap slapping against the side on my helmet was when I noticed it wasn't strapped.

I've taken off (usually with a group) without my helmet fastened
a couple of times... I seem to notice right way, and it bugs me
until I manage to fasten it...

Usually because I didn't fasten it because something broke my routine. I think. What was the question? Who are you? Why are you asking me all these questions? ???

Hollyday gets mad at me when we're down the road a few miles and I all of a sudden ask her to fasten my helmet down. Ooops! She really hates it when its cold cause she has to take off her gloves.

And when you get my age you will have all the other symptoms as well. I can't see, I can't pee, I can't walk, and there's something else wrong with me but I can't remember what it is. L
