Some interesting reading.
No more sticker necessary for no helmet (I guess I can finally throw away the forms that I printed and never sent in)
Also mandatory MSF for all new motorcycle endorsements, and if you get caught without an endorsement they impound your bike until you take a MSF class.

Actually, the sticker law was passed in June but doesn't go into effect until Sept 1. It also states that you can not be pulled over just because you aren't wearing a helmet because the insurance stipulation( $10,000 Med Coverage) is STILL THERE! Also the Insurance companies are coming out with a unique card that displays at sight if you have enough med coverage for you and/or passenger because if they aren't wearing a helmet and you don't have medical coverage for a passenger it's on you!

I haven’t looked at the actual law, but according to this article the dollar amount on insurance goes away, you just need proof of insurance.
But, none of that really matters, we all wear helmets all the time…right bnbTom?

Since the state minimum has always met the requirement, that was always kind of a moot point. just glad they can't pull me over just to check anymore.

The medical insurance requirement to be immune to the helmet law is a different requirement than the minimum liability requirement to operate a motor vehicle.

I apologize, I should have made a more specific statement.

 If you purchased the Personal Injury add on, the state minimum met the requirement.

I always ride with a helmet, but I'll be cursed if a LEO didn't stop me parking the bike in front of the house when moving it out of the garage because I didn't have a helmet. Having the Personal Injury endorsement on my liability card just makes it quick and easy if I ever get stopped without one on.

Hey!  I resemble that remark.   
     I have, and wear, a "too" helmet...  if it's too hot, too cold, too windy or too wet...  I wear my helmet.
