OK -
The numbers are in.  7257 miles on the front tire and I am now sitting on the wear-bars for the left side of the front tire.  Measured in the tread I have 2/32nds vs 1/8 on the right side measured in the same place.

I know that we wear'em out on the left faster, but as I look at this tire, it just doesn't seem right.  In the day light a large portion of the left side appears scuffed - like it's just been cornering.  The right side only has this a tiny bit further out to the edge.

I have had front tires go 18k on my Valk previously, so my active brain is wondering if I have something wrong here.

A few months ago, I jumped a small ditch and slid a little ways ending at a fence post.  The RIGHT bottom of the fork hit the corner of the post and did no damage to the post other than chip away the wood slightly.

The bike was not damaged ( That I know of ) ( very soft ground ) but the handlebars were pushed up somehow in the moment.  That happened probably 4-5k miles ago.  I do not remember being alarmed at the tire wear before then, but I am not sure I would have even been looking closely at that time.

MY QUESTION -
How easy is it to check for some sort of FORK ISSUE?  The trees look perfect.  I did blow my seal on the same side that took the knock at the bottom of the fork.  Bike runs straight and true as anyone can tell.  I've done two rides now since then that put over 2.5k on the bike just on those two occasions.

Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?  Do i throw another tire on and see if there's any change?  Currently an AVON VENOM R - with the COBRA on the rear.

Feel a little exposed here talking about my rodeo festivities......  My pride was left on the ground for all to see!

My last 3 Venom R tires went at least 24K on the front. One went 27K. I run 42 PSI in front. I can't understand how a Venom went in 1/4 the miles. After repairing the leftside seal, was anything said about the fork? Straightness or dented?

I think you have a problem somewhere.  Even an original Dunlop front tire would have gone farther than 7000 miles...mine did.  I would check the forks (both) for straightness.  If you don't have the means to check them yourself, maybe you can take them off and carry them in to a shop that should have the correct tools/ gauges.  Good luck...tires aren't cheap.

It may be that the tubes are just twisted in the triple tree clamps .  Loosen the clamps and try working the wheel from side to side and re torque them.  This might help.
