Not sure about the validity of the site... I am an almost 20 year LEO, in the same jurisdiction for that entire time... I know most of the convicted (and pending) felons in my area (unless they committed their crimes many, many years ago).
In typing in some addresses in my jurisdiction, just to take me to various neighborhoods... it brings up just a few people... and they are people I have never heard of. Trust me there are many, many, many that it is not showing...
YMMV... I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I don't believe it.
Only five felons in what the cops consider a "high crime area" and only one under 50 yrs old? That would mean that the many sex offenders who showed up on a similar site were handed misdemeanors, as were the two brothers who take turns doing time for parole violations.

I was a release officer at a state prison in Florida for many years. If an inmate is not on probation or required to register due to the nature of the crime they can be very difficult to track. Sex offenders, arsonist, and various others are required to provide an address when released. A sex offender can not live within 1500 ft of a school, daycare, bus stop or anywhere children congregate. If they can not find a place that fits the requirements and are released on probation they are arrested for violation of probation and taken directly from prison to county jail. Some apt. complexs have taken to building playgrounds so as to keep the sex offenders away.

I'm not even worried about the ones that are not showing up. This is what showed up within a 5 block radius (walking distance).
1. Two older men at differant addresses both convicted of sodomy.
2. One tean, gang assault.
3. One man, rape.
4. Kidnapping
5. Criminal use of firearm
It's all good in the hood! Now do I show my wife, or hide it from her?

This is a bogus site. In the County in which I live, we can do an internet search and get the names of all property owners. I searched all over for the neighbor it said I had that had a criminal history and no one by that name lives anywhere close. I just wonder what liability this web site has for falsely reporting that someone with a criminal history lives at a particular location. Where it says on their map a felon lives is where actual people live in our neighborhood. This site labels them as felons. Also, since it is bogus, I wonder what hidden software they are trying to plant on computers. Makes one wonder.....

It showed a 75 year old man convicted of gang related charges. Thought that was fishy in this neck of the "woods."
