Buzz feeling in seat
«

Over the years I have had a buzz feeling in the seat that I believe I have figured out, somewhat. This buzzing vibration feeling only happens when braking with the rear wheel in hotter weather. On a day long ride I might feel it once or twice. It happens when applying the brake lightly at slower speeds like maybe 30 moth and below. I can say in the last 5000 miles I might have felt it 5 times.
Pads are OE, bike is a 99 with about 60k on it.
Any thoughts on the cause? Thanks.

Is it a buzz or a in/out sensation?
What I was thinking maybe a warped rotor.
But ya usually feel that in the brake pedal.
About the only other thing would be a wheel bearing going bad slowly but surely.

I get the same thing and have figured it out. I have a "blinker buddy" with my Ultimate KBB.

You have already associated it with the rear brakes.
Get some new brake pads.

I agree with RJ, might be a warped rotor.

Relish it, it'll save money at the adult toy store.
