Ok,
I am putting new tread on this bad boy and as I was dismounting the rear tire previous tire was put on with a inner tube. Why would they do this and should I go back to "tubeless"?
My thoughts for tube...
1. rim is leaking so easy fix was to just stick a tube in it.
2. old tire had a puncture and was the more sound fix that the previous owner decided to do.
3. some ding dong at the shop assumed that the wheel required a tube and didn't have one so they made the executive decision to put one in.
4. valve stem failed and this was the only other option they had at the time.

That being said... what's your thoughts? Manual says it should be tubeless. I'm leaning on putting a valve stem in it and call it good. If it leaks I'll put a tube in it.
What's your thoughts?
Thanks,
