WOW Sounds GReat !!!
Was that in your home town or in Sturgis or something ?
I agree Mellencamp Rocks.
as a side note I think it is great that these old timers well at least old time music makers, come out of the woodwork. My question is do you think it is their love for playing music or are they Broke ? LOL

Mellencamp has always been known for putting on a great live show. The only thing better than John Mellencamp is his wife. She is stunning!

I used to like John Mellencamp, but he's turned into such a political A-Hole in the last few years, most of his hometown people have shunned him. He lives just south of me here in Central Indiana. He did a show at the old football stadium a few years ago and did a song bashing the President. He was boo'd out of the building.

They have plenty of money so I din't think that's the motivation however the musicians, roadies, bus drivers, sound managers, etc don't have money and must keep working.

I went to see Dylan a long time ago at the Fox in Atlanta. Being kind of clueless about places bigger than Greenville, SC, my plan was to go to Atlanta and drive around until I found the Fox. Boy did I ever drive through some scary places... -Mike

I was at the concert too. I found out that motorcycles park for free after paying $10 to park the car.

Woody Guthrie evoked similar reactions among many in his Oklahoma hometown. More a comment about Woody's former neighbors than about Woody.
