Yesterday I was riding my S/C Valk with my buddy who has a LS1 Boss Hoss, yes the BH can whip me... but I pulled into the passing lane on a deserted two lane road and whacked it, ran it up to about 140 on the speedo where it lost power for a second or two, made a pop sound before the power returned. It fishtailed a bit then I pulled over to take a look. The back tire was all oiled up and the pipes were smoking from oil that had leaked onto them.
The oil looks like it came from a capped tube behind the little k/n breather.

My question is did it build up too much oil pressure and this is how it purged the build up by pushing oil out the tube behind the breather, then oil goes all over the engine?

The bike still runs fine and I got a couple hour job to clean it up but what happened and why?

Have any of you S/C Valk guys had this happen to you? Thanks

What is    "the little k/n breather."  ??

if that is an aftermarket piece put on to replace the crankcase oil separator, that is the cause.

I used to have the breather close to the crankcase and oil vapor was oiling up the area around the breather. I added a hose that is roughly 12"-16" long that moves the crankcase breather up where I tied it to the right-side backbone of the frame underneath the gas tank. Forward-backward speaking it's about even with the the filler neck of the gas tank now. I haven't had much, if any, oil vapor to speak of since that mod. But, no, I haven't had my bike up to 140mph (yet).
