How do you mean "connected to the kick stand"? The hoses should fall loose. Is there a clip that they are passed through.

At least one hose is the drain from the air filter box. What is referred to as Dragon Drool. Usually water and some fuel residue.

How is the bike running? Popping, mileage, pipes bluing (heating).

What kind of problem with the plugs?

One of those hoses is the fuel tank overflow. It goes from a hole in the back of the fuel cap to run excess fuel (from a full tank expanding in the sun or any slosh-up) out under the bike rather than letting it run over your paint.

The hose near the kickstand should be the tank vent.  That hose has nothing to do with the carburetors or the mixture.  If plugs are running rich on one side only the problem can be the choke (enricher) slide being stuck or something.  Gas coming out of the tank vent will not have an effect on those plugs.

The one on the kickstand is the drain for the carb bowls, if gas is dripping there one on the drain screws is not sealing. That is the factory location for that hose. The tank vent and drool tube are on the right side of the bike.

Grumpy you have this backwards.  The carb drain and the dragon drool are on the right and the tank vent is over by the kickstand.

Its the drain line attached to kickstand. Its most likly an overfill issue  Was on a long trip gas  cheaper in this town we were passing  through. May have squessed as much gas as possible in it. But still I noticed what was deffinatly a fuel like substance dripping out of line. After we stopped tank about half full by then  Oh well glad its not a Carberator issue  Better of 2 evils. Learn something new every day. Now I know what those drain lines are for. The plug thing may be unrelated. Thanks.
