I have a 1999 Valk Std, I had a new tire installed on the rear this year and was told the splines were not lube and are worn about 60%. So I am in search of parts and information. I have looked on ebay for goldwing parts, and their are some. Also look at Honda Direct Line parts, they show to have the ring and pinion and the hub. Which is the best way to get this old girl back in shape. I am thinking New would be best, but not really wanting to have to set the back lash, would the center press out of the new Valk ring gear? Please help this Valk owner out, got some good rides planed but not wanting to get stranded. Thanks Joe  Grin

I doubt you need a ring and pinion. This should be an easy fix. All thats usually needed is the drive shaft and cup if its those splines that are worn. The main wheel drive splines are also subject to wear, so, we need to know which we are talking about. But, no matter, its an easy fix.
