I drove straight through, stopped a few times to stretch the legs and have a snack. Total time on the road was 12 hrs., driving time somewhat less. Pulled in the drive at 8:00pm. Like Jack, I had a major backup also on I-95. Had us stopped dead for about 40 minutes, have no idea what the trouble was but did see a chopper fly over low and land somewhere up ahead, and a couple troopers went flying past on the shoulder so most likely an accident. Only hit a few sprinkles about three times. Felt good to be home and in my own bed but had a hard time sleeping at first....right leg was really fired up. But, I'd do it all over again.

John congrats on your bike show win and it was good to get to meet you.  Hope you will be riding by the time I get to FL in the fall.

So do I Roger, maybe by then they will have bolted in a couple new parts. I'm paying for it today after nonstop yesterday. And I always enjoy meeting new folks at the rally, it's nice to be able to put a face with a name finally. See ya in the Fall.

Congrats on the safe trip and the win John.  You might need to add another shelf in the trophy cabinet if you keep winning.

John glad you made it home safely.
Shine up those older trophies so they don't feel out of place when the new one moves in to join them.
