Very cool Doug.

Bet that Ruger is twice the weight of the Taurus, but it is oh so more shootable.
Recently added a Smith alloy J frame .357 to the pile, and it came with crimson trace grips. First time with a laser (except the cat tormenting pen), but a whole lot easier aiming than fixed sights at night (when most bad mojo happens). Red is pretty useless in daylight. Put red nail polish on the front blade.
The nice young policeman I bought it from decided he needed a 2d Glock for backup (and duty and backup both take the same mags).
Since you are in the spending mode, check this out. (tiny on/off switch on the butt, activation with middle finger) Takes a bit of practice using two fingers instead of one. Only downside is the grips are short for body carry, and the little finger doesn't fit.

I do like Crimson Trace products, although do not care for the laser grips on revolvers. My preference is the Hogue Mono grip/no laser. I have them on my Ruger Security six and Smith Model 66. For me they are a must. The Stock Ruger grip is nice and may be fine for her smaller hands, but not for me.
Gil, I agree and plan on having my Gunsmith do an action job. He did my Smith and when I squeeze that trigger I still can't tell when it will go bang.
