Help with Fairing Selection
«

I see that Tsukayu has their Valkyrie Batwing fairings on sale for 40% off regular price. Does anyone have any experience with these fairings ? Look to be about half the price of a Woodys or Hoppe.
Much appreciated...

I put a Tsukayu on mine, and while I am happy with what I ended up with, overall a nice quality item with a more than acceptable sound system to get you going. I had to modify the mounting to get it to sit the way I wanted on the bike, and if you plan on painting the pieces, the edge seals on each piece and super glued on and will probably be destroyed when removing. On the upside it is really nice to be able to remove the fairing rather quickly, and the stereo has a digital delay so you can listen to CD's if you want without them skipping while bouncing down the road.
For some the mounting may not be as much as a hassle as it was for me as I wanted to keep my Cobra light bars and tube mounted lowers which made it musical chairs getting everything to fit correctly. All in all a quality piece, but produced on a scale that does not pay as much attention to details as I am sure a Woodies does.
Being that the Tsukayu is made to fit a variety of bikes the fitment around the Valkyrie headlight leaves a bit to be desired,, I built a piece to relocate the headlight, but still not completely satisfied with it.
