There were 4 awards that either weren't printed or disappeared into a cosmic black hole.
Anyway, the awards were made and are still available for printing. If you feel that you or someone you know is entitled to one of these awards please post here which award and the necessary details. Potential winners MUST have attended IZ9 in Frisco. Upon verification of attendance and any other pertinent details, I'll make each award available to the appropriate person.
The awards in question are:
Highest Mileage Bike Most Miles Ridden to IZ9 (by Meandering Route) Newest Valkyrie Rider Oldest Rider

But, what about the guy that couldnt make it but wanted to be there more than anything else and even tried to find an excuse to drive across country just so maybe he MIGHT get a glimpse at what he was so undesirably missing??

2001 Valkyrie Standard 141,849. How 'bout it Daniel (or anyone else)... can ya top that? I'm not the newest Valkyrie rider, but I may have the newest internal appliance. Unless your "appliance" can ride on it's own, I'm afraid it is disqualified.

Most Miles Ridden to IZ9 (by Meandering Route)
I traveled 6250 miles from the time I left home until I got to Inzane. I left Independence, Mo and travelled through 14 states and up to Surrey, B.C. before arriving at Frisco. Clint

I had owned my first Valkyrie, 2002 Standard, for 10 weeks when I rode into Frisco. Does that make me new?

Most Miles Ridden to IZ9 (by Meandering Route)
I think Lyn-del and Wizard probably are up for this one...they were something like 8500 miles on the road before they hit Inzane (or higher...not sure). 2001 Valkyrie Standard 141,849. How 'bout it Daniel (or anyone else)... can ya top that? Nope. He's got me beat (but not by much). Better ride a bunch this year Willow...I'm only about 2000 behind you (that's a couple cheeseburger runs).

So far this is what we have:
Highest Mileage Bike: Willow with 141,849
Most Miles Ridden to IZ9 - Meandering Route Clint with 6250 (Waiting to hear from Lyn-Del or Wizard)
Newest Valkyrie Rider: SMS (Cal) with a mere 10 weeks
Oldest Rider: I know MasterBlaster is 70... anyone older than that?
If you can beat any of these stats, speak now or... well, you know.

Kerri Huntzinger Piloted a Valk 1st time ever on june 21st 2009 ,in the rain . Brian got his interstate June 25th and her Valk ownership became official.
She started out on the darkside tire too and gave us a good run at the IZ9 rodeo .

Yes Connie, but I could only be with you all in spirit this year. Nobody available to stay with my honey in my absence, and it would have been at least a 2k+ mile trip one way. Maybe next year. I was there the last time, would have loved a return trip, but.....

Early Bird looking forward to getting that Oldest Rider award one of these years. I will be 68 next month and still putting around.
Now if some of us can just stay out of the hospitals. At least I don't have any additional 'appliances' installed.

So how old are you Johnny Schmidt? How close to 77 are you? I wasn't there due to health problems, BUT, if I'm still on top of the green stuff, I'll be there for #10.

Nickster did receive the award for the furthest distance ridden to Inzane. He and his father did have one heck of a ride to get there and home. I do have to admire them for that. They are definitely great people! It was good to see you again too, and I was glad to meet your daughter. We hope to see you again!

Sooo...is Dawson City, Yukon out of the running for Inzane 10? It's a pretty cool town.

I have a cousin in Minnesota your age, calls me her little brother, we grew up together during some tough times(loss of one our parents to cancer). She's five years older, I'm five older than my sis, only way we can keep track of the birthdays anymore. I was going to ride this year, unlike last time it was out there. My wife convinced then to trailer the bike and I'm glad I listened to her. It was 104-106 going across Kansas, both ways, which would have been kinda rough to handle now. This year I'm told it was hot but not as bad as before. Like you, as long as I'm above ground I want to continue to ride, just won't be those 700+ days of years past.
