So I wanted to see that for myself... I went to cars.gov and I can't find anywhere I can log into the site and get that page.  Not saying it's not there... just that I can't find it.  The consumer portion of the site is all in green, if you go to the dealer site it is blue like Glenn's page so why is he warning consumers about something on the dealer side of things?

At 49 seconds Beck does say "the dealer goes to cars.gov". I can imagine the dealer has a separate secure log in.

if you click the dealer link on the right of the web page is does deafualt to the bleue screen he was showing. I exited at that point.  Shocked

At about 3:15 in the vid he says the policy "czars" are "evil people. These are wicked, crazy, frightening people."

Pot, meet kettle.

I agree with you SE, he is a weasel B.S. purveyor.

But there's a kernel of truth in this vid, despite the rants of Beck and his vapid co-hostess: the privacy agreement they are referring to does (or did, if it hasn't been changed) give a federal agency the right to download anything they want from the dealer's computer while he is logged into the system, then use it for whatever purpose they deem fit.

Watch your government, whether run by Republicans or Democrats. I rarely believe conspiracy theories, but I do believe that individual actors (well-meaning or not) in a bureaucracy can produce unforeseen negative results.
