I recently bought the Ultimate Low boy seat and back rest. I'm a shorter rider about 5'7". I feel like if my bars were pulled back a couple inches I would be in a much more comfortable position.

Any tips?

I just bought a set of Duece risers for my Interstate...they rise up 5.5 inches, and pull back somewhere around 2-3 inches.  I currently have higher than stock risers, but feel I am leaning forward a bit much for them.

I put these on my Interstate.. Made a world of difference even for just 1 inch..

I got them off Ebay I think... Paid less that 50.00 for the ones I purchased....

I too am a short rider and have the risers that RobertC is using.  I like them and a very easy install.

I assume you've loosened the handlebar clamps and played with the bar position already?

I put a set of the these on my 97 Standard...I am 5'8" and have an Ultimate low-boy with 11.5" progressives and 3/4" slip on front end.I notice they do not list the 6" that I installed , only 5" and 7".Heres the link:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Shadow-VT-750-1100-VTX-1300-1800-CHROME-5-RISERS-/331236110113?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4d1f35ef21#ht_864wt_1155

Well the big issue is po had put some risers on and drilled holes and bars are sitting crooked.  Had the bike since 07 every year I bitch about it well finally going to try and fix it. Been doing a little side work and now is the time to at least get stuff together. Thanks again
