I just got back from a great ride by the coast (PCH). Saw a Yellow and Cream Valk traveling in the opposite direction
(Sunday 4:00 PM).

I wondered if he's a VRCC club member.

At any rate, went to Neptune's a biker's watering hole by the ocean. Always crawling with Harleys.
Got there and went inside for a beer. When I came back out, some dude on a Harley 1200 was telling his friend
that he "can't understand why some people would ride a HONDA."

He kept blowing hot air not knowing that it was my Valk. It was obvious he's never heard of a Valkyrie.
So I introduced myself and told him, "I can't understand why some people would ride a Harley." He said, WHAT?

I said, "well look here. Do you see all those ladies drooling over the HONDA? Do you see anybody looking at your Harley?"
Now his girlfriend shows up. So he kept trying to maintain his dignity while still BS-ing 'bout his Harley vs Valk comparison.

She said to him, "I don't know but I like it! I've never seen such a huge bike." So, he kept blowing hot air... bla, bla.

I finally told them, "am going back inside for another beer but when I come out we can do the quarter mile for 'pink slips,'
would you?" He didn't know what to say... End of BS conversation.
Did I say that it felt great?
