I mentioned previously that I found a lot of added electric spaghetti in my Girl. While I wait not so patiently for carb parts and have the fuel tank and airbox off, I thought I would clean up some of the odd things I have found. This device has me puzzled
.
There are two yellow lines on the right are going to the turn signals making amber running lights. The red line on the left has an in-line fuse attached to the battery and is switched to turn off the amber lights. The rest of the wires on the device were loose. I thought it was a back-off type of controller since the Girl has LED flashing brake lights attached to license frame. I disconnected the power to this thing and still have flashing LED lights so.......... That ain't it.

Anybody seen one of these before? And if so, what is the real purpose for the do-hickey. There is only the name on the device and no model number or other information.

I Google the company. http://www.kriss.com   they make head light modulators and break flashers. They also make a turn signal cancel unit.

Yeah, I did the same thing.  It is hooked up to the turn signals but switched. The green (ground?) was not connected to anything, nor the blue wire. Since there are no markings, other than Kriss, I was hoping someone else might recognize what this might be. The company website does not have anything that looks like this unit. Of course, it may be 17 years old. The turn signal cancel function is still manual with aid of the seat buzzer (whopee when plugged in).
