I know is has been discussed many times. But never more needed as far as I am concerned. We now have a General and a Tech category. Would it be possible to create a political as well? That way I can avoid the thing all together. Sorry but this is changing the way I view this club and its members. Just tired of opening up the discussion on every other thread... To find more arguing. Rather than the family discussion about the wonderful bike we all own. THIS IS THE VRCC after all. Not the DNC or RNC Message board…. Rant done now. Thanks, David  |

Hmmmm, if we go there and have one solely for Political posts..... we should probably have one for Guns & Ammo, Sex, Religion etc etc..... when will the madness stop.  |

"non bike related" is a very common category on other boards.
People in the mood to bond about bikes can do so in the bike areas.
People who come to bond with fellow bikers about life in general can do so in the non-bike categories.
Works good. Gooder, anyway.
EDIT: looking at it, I guess "General" is supposed to cover life in general, but I'd suggest it be "general" in the sense of "the biker life" or whatever with ride stories and inzane and six cylinders vs the world and pictures of shiny bikes and not-so-shiny bikes and fork bags and speakers and camping on the road and what have you.

That works for me. But I can see the post now. “I was thinking about the (government…religion…gun laws… etc) today while I was riding the Valk. Now it’s Valk related” Seems like a good idea, but in reality it’s hard to implement. I guess. My bad ??? |
