I realize that the 2014 Valkyrie is a new bike.  With a revered name.  And, Honda ... as usual, did not hype the Valk at all.  Not much in the usual magazines either.

I wonder how well the new Valkyrie is selling?  Some of the larger dealers have had 3 bikes ... and most were sold pretty quickly when I inquired.  But, many are available Online ... everywhere.

My dealer ordered my ABS version, and it came in about 2 months after the 'standard' version hit.  Nearly purchased a BMW R1200RT, or what ever the new water cooled version is called.  ?

So, where am I coming from?  Well, this message board seems dominated by a relatively small group of folks.  I wonder if that is due to the small number of bikes purchased, or the lack of passion we experienced with the original Valkyrie.  Which gained quite a bit of early interest and passion ... which still exists.

Or, maybe few purchasers have any idea where to look for 'friends', and how to share information.  ??

I had a 1999 Valk.  Loved it a great deal.  But, I have moved on.  Technology and other marques are always moving on as well.  The NEW Valkyrie is really a terrific bike.  Perhaps becoming one of my favorites.  Yeah, like all bikes I've had ... it needs some 'doctoring' to make it work for me.  And, it will.

But, I wonder how well the NEW Valkyrie is being accepted in the Dragon-veld ... it may take some time.  But, those who don't care for it are not being fair to the evolution of the Valkyrie.  All things change.  And, this change is really grand IMO.   Smiley

I am with you Bagger, I like it.  Brew1brew has one and took it to Inzane this year.  It is a sharp bike.  Maybe because I like the BLUE color.  Smiley  It is nimble, fast, and smooth, but I'm not telling you anything.
I am in the market for a dual sport or I would already have one.

There were 4 at InZane this year... Brew1brew, Christy, and Psycho brought blue ones, I brought the red one.
