wanted to give everyone a update on the court case for my husband. I've been invited to sit in on the depositions today so I'm finally going to meet the man who is responsible for taking Steve's life. They will be talking to him along with the state trooper and witnesses. I cannot ask questions but was told I can have the attorneys ask questions for me. Please say a prayer for me that I am strong today. Will post later today on how it went.

Our thoughts and prayers are still with you Rhonda. Having been on both sides of depositions I can tell you sometimes it is not an easy thing to sit through. May God give you strength and peace when all is through. JDW

Deposition hearings can be a very traumatic situation.    From what little time I have seen and talked to you, I predict that you will come through with flying colors.  I think you are a very strong Lady & Mother.

I do want to let you know that I'm thinking of you and saying prayers that everything you want to know comes out.

Good luck to you and Noah during this trying time.

I have been in these situations just like Brian has, & you will do just fine.   Just don't get mad & get tossed out.........

Keep all of this side of the family up to date.       cooldude angel

I pray from Florida
Eph 3:16  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,
2Co 1:4  who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Our heart goes out to you and your son...Devon and I will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers...I know alot of folks will tell you to be strong ...but it is okay to cry too when the need is there...lawyers and courts are great at making things impersonal but it never works... right is right and no matter how they will try to paint a different story the truth is known by all including judges, lawyers, and families and friends...they will try to make this criminal into a victim and that will be hard for you to witness...just have faith...

Rhonda, my heart and my prayers are with you.  I'm not going to tell you to be strong.  Feel what you need to feel; process what you need to process; cry when you need to cry; and lay back in the arms of the Master when you need His comfort.

Please let us know how it goes.
