This First Picture Is Of The Area Where I Had 18 Staples Due To  The Surgeon Having To Install A Metal Rod From My Knee To My Ankle.

The Second Picture Is Of My Right Leg In The Original Cast,Which I Have Not Had Taken Off Yet. Due To Obamacare I Have To Wait For My Referral To Be Approved Before I Can See An Orthopedic Specialist.

Hopefully I Can Get In To See An Orthopedic And I Can Move On With Some Therapy ,Even Though It's Hot Out,I Still Have The Urge To get Some Saddle Time In.Iguess It Will all Come In Due Time,Hopefully By Fall,LOL .

I Think That They May Have Added 10 or 15 Pounds Of Rod ,Plates, & Hardware To My Right Leg. It Sure Feels Heavier.

That must have smarted quite a bit Bert. Stupid obamacare. Glad they at least got you mended, now for the rehab. Hang in there my friend.

Welcome to the metal packing club, I added some to my hands and arm to go along with the plate they put in my ass years ago. Now you can have fun at airports setting off the metal detectors.  Hope you get healed up quick. I did not have to deal with obummer care, but my HMO was almost as bad, referrals for every thing. If you need any thing, give me a ring.

Wow Bert.  A little closer to Wolverine.   laugh

Hope you're healing well.  Watch out for any addiction to pain meds.  Pain, although difficult to accept, is a reminder you are still alive.

Hope our wonderful affordable care act will let you get on with your healing.  I've not heard a good word from anybody that has had to deal with Obama care. Just think how strong your leg will be hauling all that extra weight around all the time.

I Have Been Med -Free For Two Weeks . I Have Had Other Injuries In the Past And I Have A Great Tolerance For Pain. I Hate Taking Pills And Would Never Become  Addicted To Them.
