My oem bags on my valk standard, are about two years old but they are already saggy... I ordered a kit from leather lid inserts and am having a devil of a time making it work, especially on the lids.
I wonder has anyone used this kit and if so do you have any recommendations on how to make it work?
Thanks cooldude

I installed them on a set of the leather OEM bags about 4 years ago and had a similar problem getting them in. I talked with the owner (he's a nice guy) and he suggested talking with a local leather worker. Instead I read up on working with leather. I ended up using a bunch of larger conditioner to get the bag to soften as much as possible and then the plastic pieces with contact adhesive and rivets. They turned out pretty nice, but I have no idea how they've held up over time because that spring I bought an Interstate and sold the bags.
