Hay Whistler
 Good to hear from you.
No, I won't be able to make it that week-end. Gotta work. Hope ya'll have a great time though!
Did make it to Cassoday today.

Arrived about 10:00 - was already getting HOT and there was quite the crowd. Parked in a lot at the edge of town under a tree in the shade.

Walking the block into town another lot filling up fast.

Once in town there were a lot of bikes to oogle! Figure there were probably 4-5,000 in attendence while I was there. Saw a few amazing paint jobs, but didn't think to get pics of em.

Had my eye out for any Valks that might be there. Did find a couple. Came across this one first.
Anybody we know?

Next one I found in the sea of Harleys was this one.

Farther in I found this one. What kind of exhaust is that? Looks like it might sound real good!
Says *Skeeter* next to the tank badge. VRCC member?

Came across this set up. I'm really likin` that teardrop trailer. Wonder what kind of tongue weight he has with that front box on there? Would store a lot of stuff, but IMHO would look better about half that size.

And, of course, NO Valkyrie hunt would be complete without finding the Dragon!
Hope this ain't his daily rider!  coolsmiley

Did make the run up 177 from Cassoday to Council Grove and back. Finally got the "NEW' scrubbed off the edges of my new tires!  Grin
Got in just shy of 200 miles today. All in all, a GREAT day!  cooldude
And, of course, after I got back home, I remembered the most important thing to take with you on a long ride in the middle of summer in Kansas......SUNSCREEN!  2funny
Gonna have a great tan on my face this time next week...till it starts peeling off!  tickedoff

I was there, parked next to that black trike.  I got there by eight, headed home about 10:30. Needed to beat the heat.   Sorry I missed you.  Hoser

That looks like TBR canisters.  Unless modified they're actually pretty quiet but will give you a little HP boost.

Can someone enlighten me as to how long the Cassoday event goes into the Fall?   I may be traveling back to KS this fall and if it's still on, I'll try to by there.  I've been lucky enough to join in the fun a few times when I go back but don't remember the specifics.

Hmm, OK thanks.   Probably won't make one this year.

If the weather is nice, they will do one in Nov as well.  Just have to watch their facebook page.

And that my friend, seems to be the problem.   I don't do face book.   So, I miss out on a lot of things.   Oh well, maybe next year.
