On the other hand.....

If you use an enclosed trailer and paint West Coast Choppers logo on the side you save the expense of even buying a motorcycle! just keep it closed up and think of all the fuel savings hauling an empty one ! you could even go to sturgis, get a t-shirt and tell every one about the wild ride to the black hills.

 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny
But sooooooo RIGHT!!!!

Oddly I am going to be serious here for ONE post.
I am really impressed with this bike, lots of compliments, no one realized it is 10 years old.  Handling, power, comfort, everything in one bike.  When I had the dyno run this sport bike kid looked over my shoulder at the sheet and said "That's wicked sick man."  Its really nice to finally get the dream bike and find out is as good as I expected.  I've wanted one since I rented the '99 I/S in '99 but I had just bought the Nomad.

Dependability is not a Valkyrie forte.

I've had multiple flats on my I/S, burned out light bulbs, batteries went dead, and worst of all,....it lost the centerstand while still new!

Is there a Harley in my future?

I agree with you on the dependability part.  I have had numerous problems with mine just in the couple of weeks I was able to ride it while home.  Every single one linked directly back to the timing as well.  How odd.  Operator headspace and timing that is.

Wow Momz....Where did you find a Valk with a factory stock centerstand?

I have a Cobra light bar in the normal mounting place. Gives a good view down the road. I also have some smaller lights at the lower part of the crash bar. Gives a triangular look for the oncoming traffice, even in daylight. You also might want to have both....may prevent a oncoming bluehaired lady from making a u-turn in front of you.
