So, the other day I'm killin a minit while the wife shops, and what do I see? What I think (based upon my own and manual pictures) is a set of OEM Valkyrie Exhaust pipes just lying on the floor of this store. They were tagged $95.00.  I was in too much shock to actually pick them up and ask someone who worked there if that was the price for each or for the pair. They were in really, really nice shape. Like they didnt see many miles.  Chrome was very good, no dents/dings. They were like the golden weinie perched atop the garbage pile.
My question is, :Are they worth $190.00 for the pair? I'm thinking yes because I have some craks at the muffler on at least 2 tubes on each side. That'll probably cost me a C note to have braised together.
Sometimes I'm tighter than the skin on a grape and I have been known to miss out on a good thing a time or two because I procrastinated.
Anyway, any and all feedback is appreciated.

Jeff.

I wouldn't think twice if I saw a nice set of pipes for that price, especially if you plan on keeping your bike for a long time.

If they are in excellent shape, offer $150 in Ten-UDS bills. Wink   However, they are worth what you are willing to pay for them. cooldude

Yes.

They are way under priced.  The going market value will range from $300 to $500 for the pair.

Whenever you see something used in a m/c dealer, you can depend upon

the tagged price being for the whole system, not the parts individually.

I'd expect the 95 bucks is for the two, together and the reason for the low

price is because the don't make the Valkyrie anymore. I would have sucked them up,

for that price, right then!

So after much deliberation (voices in my head) I bought the pipes. Major score! $95.99 out the door.
I wanted to post a couple of pics to get feedback the membership. As far as I'm concerned, these pipes are spot on. I talked to the parts counter guy at the local Honda dealer, and of course would not even imply they were remotely correct, and of course suggested I come in to buy a new set. HA!
So, any help with posting pics with my narrative is appreciated.
